Wake me when it's over...

After getting back from my vacation and relaxing, my bestest bud Pactra wanted to play some Vendettas campaign in The Darkness II together. He had never played the co-op mode before so I was showing off my "moves" when you do an upclose execution on an enemy (hit LB within melee range). Mid-stab with my samurai sword... I fell through the world.

We had a pretty good laugh at that one.

After some
co-op good times, I decided to crack open a new game...
I love Oblivion and Skyrim. I love Fallout 3... however, Fallout: New Vegas has yet to grow on me. I originally bought the collector's editon, day one for the PS3. I was lucky if I made it an hour before it would lock up. Suffered more glitches than I have ever had the misfortune of in any previous game.

So when I saw the Ultimate Edition on Amazon for $30 I decided to give it another go. A few of my friends reassured me that it's been patched properly and I shouldn't encounter "too many" freezes. I've had my fingers crossed and so far so good... I'm about 14 hours in (although half of that is probably me screwing around on my laptop) and nothing has broken... yet. clap HOWEVER, I am finding it painfully boring and I keep catching myself getting easily distracted, not a good sign for a completionist like me, lol.

And after playing so much of Darkness 2, I keep wanting to shoot the lights out!

While I'm sitting here playing New Vegas, my bf decided to play Dead Space Extraction. He's an Xbox gamer like myself but this game just isn't available the 360 so we dusted off the PS3.

He's big into the Dead Space series so he played just to get some more of the story. Sorry it's so blurry he was focusing too much for any stable shots, lol. Overall he thought it was rubbish so good thing it was just a rental!

My guy loves into RPGs also, his favorite game of all time is Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. so I made him this set of coasters out of glass.

One of the favorite things I've ever made out of glass, they look pretty sweet. :D

Back to more New Vegas for me... perhaps listening to music will help keep me awake. music
