Movin' On Up!

So my new Windows Phone 8 had arrived after a week of waiting. The Lumia 810 was nice but T-Mobile service in my area sucks. I call shenanigans at the coverage map (which showed perfect for at my house). I switched because I liked the idea of unlimited data and texting. But alas, I have to return it because without wifi, I have no data... and there are 0 bars of actual phone service. No good having a phone I can't use. Yesterday evening I crawled back to AT&T and picked out a white Nokia Lumia 920. WOW! This phone is amazing.
Here's a side by side with my very first Android:

Huge size difference, haha. Since I played some Flowerz on the Lumia 810, I doubt I'll start over from scratch on the new phone. I'll just let that one go. :) Haven't played any Xbox games on the 920 yet, just a few rounds of Words with Friends.

As far as console gaming goes... I managed to finish up Jeopardy! Win 50 games, what a grind! Raptr clocked me at 34 hours (minus a few afk moments). Nice thing about it is you can just play single player mode for grinding the wins. Answer one question and leave the rest of the game afk (questions are on timers) or just pass everything (much quicker but requires attention). So I just watched Netflix on my laptop while tapping the A button to get through quicker. Oh and eating the Doritos we got for the Halo 4 double xp codes.

Completion feels good. Doubt I'll tackle the Wheel of Fortune game, too much depending on luck for my taste.

Right now I'm in a serious gaming rut... no idea what full retail title to tackle next. Was thinking about Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants but my boyfriend actually hijacked my copy, haha. Might rent another so we can play side by side. The game isn't co-op but playing at the same time might be fun. I like sim games, perhaps I'll climb the leaderboard sometime. Same goes for point and click adventure games. :D

Speaking of point and click games... finished up Walking Dead game... WOW! Yeah it was kinda predictable but still emotional. I won't spoil anything but all I have to say if you haven't played it and love a good story, do yourself a favor. :)

I didn't go out into the "wild" for Black Friday, I did my shopping and got some pretty good deals on some games. Dance Central 3 $15, Resident Evil 6 $25, Doom 3 $20, Dishonored $25. Also picked up a year of gold plus a new wireless headset (the bluetooth one) for $80 combined. clap So yeah... just relaxing and watching Netflix today. There's an episode of Hoarding: Buried Alive that made me extra cringe.

I love gaming too but put the controller down and clean your house omg. facepalm Hope everyone is having a nice weekend... and if you'll excuse me, I need to find something to clean. shock
