Extra Life 2012: Gaming Blocks

My gaming habit tends to have me sticking with one game until I complete it and move on to the next.  If I jump around too much, all of that unfocusedness (my new word) can lead me to either abandon games or get frustrated going from one control scheme to the next.  My friend Pactra was a victim of this when we played Halo 3 and I forgot the control scheme.  Sorry about that grenade man.

Anywho, Extra Life last year reflected my tendency of game focusing.  Outside of challenges I probably played 2-3 games on my own, mostly Gears of War 3 and Hyperdimension Neptunia.  This year I would like more variety for the viewers.  So I'm setting up a "block" schedule for myself.
In between challenges, I'll have a themed block of game types that I'll play.  I doubt I'll play them all but I like having a list to choose from.  Whatever happens to strike my fancy at the time or a vote from viewers perhaps.  :)
So after staring at my game collection for the past hour, here are some examples of what I've come up with so far:

Violent Block:
Darkness 2
Prototype 2
House of the Dead

Kid's Game Block:
Kinectimals
Megamind*
Happy Action Theater

Sandbox Block:
The Saboteur
Saints Row 3rd
Kingdoms of Amalur

Puzzle Block:
Create
Nat Geo (puzzle modes)
Portal 2

Superhero Block:
Captain America
Wolverine
Batman: Arkham Asylum* or Marvel Super Hero Squad: Comic Combat

Family Block:
Fable Heroes
uDraw Instant Artist
Family Game Night

*I'll have to rent it

Have any other ideas you'd like to see during the stream?  Any block/game ideas?  Let me know below!  Thanks.  :)
