High Five! Post Extra Life 2011

Okay people, give me a high five!

I did it!
24 hours straight...yep... I just finished playing video games for 24 hours straight to raise money for my local Children's Miracle Network hospital. Despite my bloodshot eyes and tired mind I feel pretty dang awesome!
Grand total: $1,044!  100% of your gift goes directly to helping heal sick kids.  Good karma, GET!
A HUGE thanks to everyone who donated and showed their support!
I had a decent list of games that I wanted to play but ended up playing Gears of War 3 and Hyperdimension Neptunia most of the time.  Once I get sucked into a game it's tough to stop and keep switching around.  Perhaps next year I will create a timeline and stick to it... doing the challenges was helpful for variety.
What I would really love is more co-op/MP gaming with friends during Extra Life.  I did end up playing several rounds of Battleship with my best bud Pactra and that was a blast.  Gears of War 3 beast/horde mode was also played with friends.  I own several co-op games and think it would be fun to get more people in on the action.
Yes... I'm tired, my eyes are bloodshot, my left hand is still tingling, I'm probably stinky... was it worth it?  Damn right it was... and I'm doing it again next year so save those pennies to donate!
