One Week From Today...

I'll be playing video games for 24 hours straight to raise money to help sick kids get the treatment they need. 
October 20th, starting at noon (pacific time)

Several people who have donated have sponsored me to play a certain game for an hour. If I didn't have these, I'd probably end up playing Borderlands 2 the whole time.

Unfortunately since I'm in the new Dashboard beta, I'll have to blackout the screen anytime I use the dashboard... don't wanna get banned for showing it in public.  Perhaps I can convince my bf to switch consoles with me. 

On Sunday, I'll be hosting Happy Wars during the marathon, so let me know if you'd like to join in the fun. It'll be co-op mode, so against bots and not PvP. The game is a free download (but I'm sure y'all know that )

This will be part of the live stream and voice chat will be (optional) Skype. The Xbox party voice chat is too quiet for broadcasting. I used it last year and no one could hear it, even with volume settings on full.

I bought a Nyko Zoom hoping that I'd be able to have more Kinect play space during the event. Unfortunately it just doesn't work for me. I installed it correctly and positioned it in several places. No matter what, the Kinect could not even find me. :(

Might be my lighting, I'm not sure. Based on reviews it either works or it doesn't. Guess it doesn't work for me. I can still play Kinect but I have to back up far enough that my legs are (almost) against a bed. Thought it would be nice to have a bit more room to flail move around. Ah well.

In Borderlands 2 news... after hearing about the new mechromancer and/or patch POSSIBLY resetting badass rank I decided to hold off on DLing everything. I really wanted to play her so downloaded everything a couple days ago and hooray for nothing going wrong. Here's my mechromancer:

I LOVE THE ROBOT PET! Deathtrap is soooo much fun! Can't wait to get her to 50 and see what she can really do. I'm rocking an Anarchy/BFF hybrid build right now.

Yesterday I played episode 4 of Walking Dead game.... oh wow that was really intense. I wish I could talk about it more but that'd be major spoilers. Such a great game... kudos to Telltale Games for epic storytelling. My bf is waiting until they are all released so he can play them all together. So I play while he is at work. When he does play, I'll sit beside him watching like it movie, curious about what decisions he'll make, and seeing his reactions. 
Really wanting episode 5 right now!
