Having A Purple Craving...

Hope everyone is having a great day today. 
Yesterday my bf and I went to hang out with a friend of ours for some epic gaming good times. We played Dead Island for the most of the day. My bf and buddy then decided to play through Saints Row while I fired up Sleeping Dogs.

Looking forward to more Xbox get-togethers in the future.

We took over a couple pizzas and I baked some brownies the night before. Growing up I always wanted to be a baker... until I found out the hours they work.  So any excuse to bake and I'm on it! I decided to make some brownies, but not just any brownies.

I layered chocolate chip cookie dough, peanut butter cup, and then dark chocolate brownie on top. So they looked like half cookie, half brownie with a peanut butter surprise in the middle! YUM.

I've been playing through Sleeping Dogs and it's such a great game for what it is. It's hard for me to stay focused on it because I've been craving an RPG for the longest time. I tried Risen 2 on an off profile but I just didn't like it... feels so clunky and low budget. Perhaps I'll give it another go someday. Going through my collection I grabbed all the RPGs I haven't played on my profile yet.

I'm thinking that I really like to play Dragon's Dogma. A couple of my friends have offered me their high level pawns to help me out. :D Sounds like fun! BUT... I don't want to get into any lengthy RPGs when Borderlands 2 is about to be released. So if/when I finish up Sleeping Dogs, I have some smaller arcade games to keep me busy (Stacking, KrissX). Plus there's always messing about with my Skyrim house decorating. 

Since we got back from hanging out last night I haven't hooked my Xbox back up to the tv. I have plans... oh yes I have shiny purple plans.  A few months ago I bought a purple ring of light board to put in my US silver xbox. I'm kinda scared about taking my Xbox apart but the warranty is up in a few days so I'm gonna go for it!

The RoL board was $40 and I'd rather pay that than try and figure out how to solder tiny LEDs very very carefully. My only soldering experience is stained glass which is very different from electronics. Yeah I'm not that brave, taking the Xbox apart is as brave as I get, haha. I'll let you know how it goes! Having a purple ring of light instead of green sounds awesome. Wish me luck!
