Beware... Zombie Hippo!

So I'm still playing Sleeping Dogs... slowly making my way through the game. 
I'm not rushing it since I really don't want to start another new game before Borderlands 2.

I saw this shirt in the game. Wish it was real because I'd totally wear it! 

A friend of mine just got his very own Japanese Xbox console... so I had him borrow one of my JP visual novels. 
I picked out the quickest one, Code 18. Takes less than an hour for the full 1000. He couldn't believe it! I lol'd and now I think he's hooked.

I haven't even completed them all but this is why my TA ratio has tanked, haha. Oh well it's more about having fun, right?

I had been wanting a new laptop for a while now. My HP kept overheating so I needed a cooling fan just to be able to use it for more than 5 minutes at a time. Eventually the screen started going out so I decided it was time to get a new one. Tada! My new laptop is here!

It's not super fancy or anything, I don't need a gaming laptop (that's what my desktop PC is for). Just something I use for internet and blogging with. My plans are to install Windows 8 on it when it's officially released.  Yay for more achievements!

The laptop has a built in webcam and the program has some fun filters so here I am messing around:

Do I look like an Xbox fangirl or what? Haha.

In case you missed it, the purple ring of light installation went well for my silver Xbox.

Sorry that it's a bit shaky, I'd like to make a better video of it in the future. I'm pretty excited, everytime I start the Xbox I watch the lights.
