Oh what a grindfest...

Happy weekend!
I'm still playing Dynasty Warriors 7... and wow it's taking me much longer than I anticipated. Good thing I like hack and slash games. 
Here's my progress so far:

Finally feels like I'm making a dent in conquest mode. I have to unlock all of those tiles and they only get more difficult. You can tell I made a trail to a city to get:

The Valor In The City achievement in Dynasty Warriors 7 Unlock all capital cities in Conquest Mode.

I needed a quick achievement fix.  
Another grind is leveling up all of the characters which feels like it's going to take the longest amount of time. 
This game will be a proud 1000 when I finish. 

I got another goodie in the mail... 

I played the demo and it seems like a very solid game. The character customization is really fun and I like the idea of sharing pawns with friends. RPGs are my favorite genre but this one will have to get filed into my backlog, Sleeping Dogs is calling my name after DW7. I just have to play games one at a time, I can never skip around. Must... focus... 

A couple friends of mine started playing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 a long time ago but ended up not liking it. I offered to pick up a copy and get through it with them. I really enjoyed the first one but keep hearing that #2 just isn't the same. It's out of print and impossible to buy new unless you wanna pay over $60. So I found a listing for a "mint" copy of the game. This is what showed up:

This case is anything but mint... the art and manual are a bit wrinkled, there is sticker residue all over and even a ring stain like someone used it as a coaster.  I haven't installed the disc yet to see if it works but there are some scratches on it. Mint condition to me would be like just taking the shrink wrap off, like new quality. If the disc works fine, I'm going to replace the green DVD case with a new one. Not trying to nitpick too much but I love my game collection and take super awesome care of it... not sure why people treat games so badly. :(

I was goofing around on my laptop the other day and got the webcam working again. So here I am being a dork with my red controller.
