My Proudest Game Completions

I have played lots of games just for achievements/trophies.  I feel kinda bad that the games I care most about are "lost in the mix"... so I'd like to share my favorite retail disc completions.
Game completion = 100% of the achievements or trophies, not just playing the game.

Here they are (blogger picked the random order):

Platform: Xbox 360
Game Type: Co-op zombie FPS
The great thing about Left 4 Dead is the super fun co-op.  I very much enjoy playing this game with friends.  My amazing gamer boyfriend played with me until 100% completion.  This game requires proper teamwork.  More hours than I can count spent playing this game, loved every minute of it.  Don't scare the witch!

Platform: Xbox 360
Game Type: Life simulation
I'm a sucker for a good sim game.  This was an enjoyable game to complete, quite relaxing. You control a household and micromanage everything that goes on, even telling your Sims when to use the toilet.  Took me around 40 hours to complete if I recall correctly.

Platform: Xbox 360 (70% on PS3)
Game Type: Action/adventure platformer
I started AC2 on PS3 but ended up completing it on Xbox.  I know this is considered an easy completion but since action/adventure/platforming isn't my typical game genre, this is a proud 100%.  I should finally play AC: Brotherhood one of these days, perhaps for Extra Life?  I wanna say I spent about 30 hours playing.

Platform: Xbox 360 (33% on PS3)
Game Type: Kick ass FPS RPG
This game was built for co-op.  My attempt at playing this game with friends on the PS3 was very laggy so I played this on Xbox 360.  Even the DLC is awesome, except for the arena.  All those stories you hear about a bazillion guns?  Well, it's true.  Besides Gears of War 3, I've spent the most played time on this game.

Platform: Xbox 360
Game Type: Classic turn based Japanese role playing game
120 hours later the 100% was mine.  Very satisfying. Quite easy, didn't die once but wow what a grind!  Loved it.  I recommend if you enjoyed the true (pre-FFXIII) Final Fantasy games.  I really wish there were more quality games like this.

Platform: Xbox 360
Game Type: Japanese turn based role playing game with action elements
This one requires a new game plus (which was quite difficult at times, enemies were twice as strong) in order to 100% the achievements. The challenge was great and I might even stack it for yet another 1000.  Combat is super fun and the vibrant cel shaded graphics make this a very beautiful game.  60ish hours to complete this one.

Platform: PS3, Xbox 360, PC
Game Type: First person sandbox action RPG
I love Fallout 3 enough to 100% it three times.  I got the platinum on PS3 but I didn't grind to level 30 so I technically have 97%.  Still counting it though!  Didn't think one could have so much fun scrounging around in a post apocolyptic Washington DC.  130 hours for my first playthrough on PS3.

Platform: Xbox 360 (43% on PS3)
Game Type: 3rd person Sandbox RPG
I was hooked the moment I finished the demo.  About 75 hours to 1000, then ~10 hours for both DLCs.  I was going to platinum it on PS3 but missed my friends on Xbox, might go back to it someday.  Medieval themed with the best crafting system I've ever seen.  Chakram weapons are OP.

Platform: Xbox 360
Game Type: First person puzzler
After playing (and falling in love with) the first Portal, I had no clue how they'd make a full retail game out of the idea.  I was blown away at how it worked out, it's hilarious and the puzzles are great!  Plus the co-op mode = win.  I also own the PS3 version, not sure if I want to tackle that completion just yet, hehe.  This game is so awesome that I bought a Portal gun replica.  :D  Time played = I forget... 20 hours?

Platform: PS3 and Xbox 360
Game Type: First Person Sandbox RPG
This game is in my top 5 favorite games of all time, easy.  Almost 200 hours on my Xbox playthrough and 118 hours on PS3, I'm proud to have this game 100%d on both consoles.  Dawnguard DLC was okay but it was unpolished and I hope Bethesda patches it soon.

There are many others that I would like to share (Tropico 3 & 4, Fable II, Too Human, Dead Island, Oblivion, Fantastic Pets, LA Noire, Xmen Destiny, etc) but that would take up too much room. ;)
I know achievements and trophies don't mean too much to a lot of people, but they are fun for me.
Perhaps I'll share my favorite arcade/download game completions in a future post.  :)
