My "2012 and Beyond" Video Game Wish List

There are a lot of games that I'm waiting for... so here's the list:

Borderlands 2

Rundown: Sequel to one of my favorite games of all time!  Looking forward to playing this with buddies.  4 person co-op RPG shooter.  Bring on the bajillion guns and more wub wub!

Bioshock Infinite

Status: Waiting for collector's edition
Platform I want it on: Not sure yet
Rundown: Bioshock is my favorite game of all time.  No question.  Now that Ken Levine is head of the IP again, I'm all over this like white on rice.  Yeah I'll disappear after I get this game.  No spoilers!

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

Rundown: I love RPGs, they are my favorite genre.  With a serious lack of quality JRPGs, this game stood out when I watched the demo during E3.  The amazing vibrant colors, visuals, and combat pulled me in.... oh shiny!

Beyond: Two Souls

Rundown: Heavy Rain is a brilliant game.  I love interactive movies and adventure "point and click" type of games.  I watched the live stream for Sony's E3 performance and my jaw dropped when I watched the trailer for this game.  Wants nao!

Quantum Conundrum

Rundown: Lead Designer of original Portal is coming out with a fun little downloadable title this year.  It'll be fun to play another first person puzzle game.  :D

Wonderbook: Book of Spells

Platform I want it on: PS3
Rundown:  I don't even have a PS Move but after watching the demo for this game, I'm very interested in getting one!  The game looks amazing, fun, and casual.  A solid game can hook me with great story telling.

Fable: The Journey

Platform I want it on: Xbox 360
Rundown: Yes, I have a Kinect.  No, I don't think it's the future of gaming.  An RPG rail shooter sounds very interesting.  I'm willing to give this game a shot if it's as awesome as the devs claim.

Final Fantasy X

Rundown: An HD remake was announced from Square Enix got me all sorts of hyped up!  I didn't hear anything about it during E3 (disappointment!) so no idea when this game will be in my hands.  Very much looking forward to playing my favorite turn based RPG again.  Just hope they keep it original and not ruin it.

The Last of Us

Rundown: After watching the demo for this during E3, I'm hooked.  I love story driven games and this game looks like a winner.  The visuals are amazing and the combat looks like fun too.

South Park: The Stick of Truth

Rundown: South Park is pretty funny and crude but after hearing about the turn based combat system, similar to Costume Quest, it immediately got my attention.  If you haven't played CQ, give it a shot!
