Yep I was pretty busy in the month of May. |
Here's the rundown:
I played quite a bit of Halo: Reach in the beginning of May. No achievements earned but had a blast killing aliens in Firefight mode with my boyfriend. Good times!
The Saboteur (1000 GS earned) - If you asked me what my favorite 3rd person sandbox shooter is... this game would be my answer. Set in WW2 France you are tasked with killing Nazis and blowing sh*t up... A LOT of it! Amazing game, check it out.
Fantastic Pets (100 GS earned) - Finally! This was a long grind but well worth it. I finished this game legit (w/o fudging the time offline) and proud of myself. It was kinda fun playing with my pet for a half hour every morning. Perhaps I'll play Kinectimals sometime.
The Cursed Crusade (1000 GS earned) - Don't ever play this game, it's terrible.
Your Shape: Fitness Evolved (350 GS earned) - In my efforts to get in shape I throw this game in and give myself a workout. Way more of a workout than my Wii Fit ever was, yeah it made me sweat. Blargh.
Nickelodeon Dance (1000 GS earned) - Yep I played this for points. Surprisingly enough it was one heck of a workout. My arms and back were sore for days. So hey at least I got more than just gamerscore out of it! Not a bad Kinect game if you have kids.
The Darkness II (800 GS earned) - My favorite FPS that I've played so far this year. It's an easy 1000 but requires 2 playthroughs. I'm not a fan of playing games back to back but I'll definitely come back to this one!
Yoostar on MTV (1000 GS earned) - Another easy Kinect 1000. Somewhat entertaining game that replaces actors/musicians with you and you play the part reading a script. Yet another confirmation that MTV reality shows are just not for me. GET OFF MY LAWN!
Memories Off 6: Next Relation (1000 GS earned) - The game that broke my Japanese import cherry... a visual novel game where you earn points based on dialog and story choices you make during gameplay. These games commonly have several young girls with huge boobs and usually an old creepy guy lurking about.
Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity (1000 GS earned) - Another Japanese storybook game. The easy points hooked me so had to play another...
Tropico 3 (1000 GS earned) - I decided to play a game from my favorite city building sim series. I played Tropico 4 last year but never got around to number 3. I recommend playing Tropico 4 first, the tutorial is WAY better.
Time Leap (1000 GS earned) - ...and back to the JP visual novels! Yep it sucked me right back in.
W.L.O. (1000 GS earned) - Probably more young girls with huge knockers being followed around by a creepy old dude. After a while all of these Japanese visual novels blended together.
Tropico 4 (250 GS earned) - Needing a break from boobs, I played the DLC for Tropico 4 titled "Modern Times". Spendy but well worth the price. 12 more missions of city building awesomeness.
code_18 (1000 GS earned) - Fastest Japanese game I've ever played... 1k in one hour... yep.
Muv Luv (1000 GS earned) - This game probably has the most boobs and gasping moments of any of the JP games I've played so far.
Rango (1000 GS earned) - It had been a while since playing an easy kid's game so... why the heck not. :D I am not a fan of platforming so I'm taking baby steps. These are helping me learn the patience and timing of jumping. Yep there were swear words whenever I fell to my death.
No Fate! Only the Power of Will (1000 GS earned) - Simple and easy storybook game. Boobs.
Minecraft (400 GS earned) - Dig. Dig. Dig. Just one more block... the only arcade game I played in the month of May and probably the game I spent the most hours playing. Got all the achievements solo *pats self on back* This game is especially fun with buddies. I swear we never fell off that bridge into the water.
Alrighty let's go ahead and total this all up...
14,900 gamerscore... BAM!
June will be an interesting month... starting off with Prototype 2 and probably a few more Japanese storybook games. Gotta put that new JP Xbox to good use. Do work son!
That is an amazing bridge....and no one...not anyone...fell off that bridge into the water, and had to walk the mile and a half back to land to get back up....did not happen, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise >_>
