Learning the ropes of JP visual novels

I may have had a late start to gamerscore whoring but it's better late than never, right?  :)

Finally got my Japanese Xbox up and running... played my first Japanese visual novel game Memories Off 6: Next Relation last night and working on my second, Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity today. 
I wish there were translated and/or English made versions of these types of games.
I also ordered 2 copies of Borderlands (JP Ver) so my bf and I could play system link. 
Yep, he has his own JP console also. :)

I have a thing for customizing stuff so of course I got a pretty blue faceplate for it. :D

Some of these games are pretty bizarre... I don't watch anime so it's a shock to me to see how the girls in these games are drawn.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not offended at all.  I can still gasp, lol.

Overall, these games are very easy to play if you have a well written guide.  You just make dialog choices for different story arcs.  The length varies from one hour to 15 hours, depending on the game.
